2004 Convention
The Atlanta Alumnae Chapter took Chicago by storm at convention again in 2004! We took home 4 awards:

  • International Council Award for PACE (Outstanding use of chapter, community, and international GPB resources to promote individual and chapter enrichment in the areas of sisterhood, service, education, and personal and social development)

  • Collegiate/Alumnae Relations Award (Outstanding communication, rapport, understanding, and cooperation between a collegiate chapter and an alumnae group)

  • SisterLink Award (Group appoints SisterLink chairwoman, recruits and involves participants in SisterLink Program. Group demonstrates initiative in implementing SisterLink Activities)

  • Scrapbook Award (Effective portrayal of chapter and Gamma Phi Beta story, rated on both content and cover and attractiveness)

    Alumna of the Year
    The Alumna of the Year award is presented each year at our Founders Day celebration. It is an award that recognizes an Atlanta alumna who has most significantly contributed to the Alumnae Chapter through her leadership, enthusiasm, and willingness to make the chapter the best it can be. All candidates must be in good standing with the alumnae chapter and with International Gamma Phi Beta, and must be selected by an Awards Selection Committee chaired by a past recipient of the award. The recipient receives an engraved silver bowl, which is passed on from year to year.

  • International Loyalty Award: Award for 7+ yrs of service & financial support to International Gamma Phi Beta
