Alumna Initiation
Our Membership Committee actively welcomes Gamma Phi Beta sisters from any collegiate chapter, and from other alumnae groups. If you're new to Atlanta or just feel like reconnecting for all the reasons you joined Gamma Phi in the first place, contact us.
Philanthropy
At the 2002 Convention, the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority voted to establish a collaborative relationship with Camp Fire USA Camp Fire USA as a major new element of our camping philanthropy. Camp Fire USA is one of the nation's leading not-for-profit youth development organizations, serving over 650,000 participants annually. Founded in 1910 and headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, Camp Fire provides all-inclusive, coeducational programs in hundreds of communities across the United States.
By design, Camp Fire's programs, including small group experiences, after-school programs, camping and environmental education, child care and service learning, build confidence in younger children and provide hands-on, youth-driven leadership experiences for older youth. As part of this collaborative relationship Gamma Phi Beta chapters throughout North America are able to support Camp Fire Councils in their local communities through volunteer work and by providing financial support for young girls to attend a Camp Fire USA program. All Gamma Phi Beta donations to Camp Fire USA support our traditional philanthropy of camping for girls. Visit Camp Fire's website at www.campfireusa.org.
We support our local collegiate chapters by selling Sally Foster Wrapping Paper & Gifts. All proceeds from this wrapping paper sale are used to assist our collegiate chapters with programming, recruitment, and scholarships. Items include holiday, birthday and all-occasion gift wrap, tissue and gift bags, and some snack delicacies. Sales are July to October with all purchases available at our Founders Day celebration in November. Interested in selling or buying? Contact Susan Darnell at gammaphibetaatl@gmail.com for a sales packet.

Alumna Initiation
Become a ΓΦΒ as an Alumna! Alumnae Initiates are women initiated into Gamma Phi Beta as alumnae members. They may be women who never attended college, who attended a school that did not have a Gamma Phi Beta chapter or who didn't join a National Panhellenic Conference sorority while in college. An alumnae initiate may be any woman who meets the high standards of Gamma Phi Beta membership. She may be a friend, neighbor, mother, or sister of a Gamma Phi Beta. She may be an outstanding community leader, professional woman, or homemaker. These women will enjoy new friendships, involvement, and opportunities to make worthwhile contributions to the Sorority.
Do you know a woman who would like to join our great organization? If you know of any woman who meets the five standards of membership and might be interested in becoming a sister, please forward her interest to Marissa at gammaphibetaatl@gmail.com.
